Abstract:
To prevent, in a centrifugal clutch designed to prevent a squeaky noise from occurring as caused by vibration of an outer clutch (87), an open end of a drum wall (87b) in the clutch outer (87) from being deformed by using a vibration isolation ring (92) that can be increased in wall thickness. A vibration isolation ring (92) of a cylindrical shape is disposed at a position corresponding to a portion of a friction material (89) making a sliding contact with a drum wall (87b) so as to surround the drum wall (87b). An inner periphery of an end portion of the vibration isolation ring (92) is welded to an outer periphery of the drum wall (87b) on the side opposite to a bottom wall (87a) of the clutch outer (87).
