Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal compressor which can inhibit reduction of pressure and deterioration of the efficiency caused by reduction of a flow rate with a simple structure, and to provide a turbocharger including the centrifugal compressor.SOLUTION: A centrifugal compressor includes an impeller and a first shroud casing which houses the impeller. The impeller includes a hub and multiple vanes erected on an outer peripheral surface of the hub. At least one of the multiple vanes includes: a first tip edge extending along the first shroud casing; a first front edge extending from an upstream end of the first tip edge to the inner side in an impeller radial direction; a second tip edge extending from a radial inner end of the first front edge to the upstream side; and a second front edge extending from an upstream end of the second tip edge to the radial inner side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
