Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively inhibit generation of surging while inhibiting a decline in compressor efficiency even in a multistage centrifugal compressor.SOLUTION: The centrifugal compressor 10 includes: a rotating shaft 30; multistage impeller 40 provided while having an interval between them in an axial direction of the rotating shaft 30; an outer casing 15 and an inner casing 20 disposed on an outer peripheral side of the impeller 40 while rotatably holding the rotating shaft 30 to form a gas flow passage between the impeller 40 and them; multiple bypass lines 65 capable of communicating a discharge side to an entrance side of each impeller 40; and an on/off valve 63 for opening/closing the bypass line 65.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
