Abstract:
To provide a centrifugal compressor capable of attaining both reduction in the moment of inertia of an impeller and suppression in uneven stress distribution on a hub.SOLUTION: In a centrifugal compressor, an impeller 100 comprises a hub 110 and a plurality of blades 120. Each blade 120 extends from one side of an outer peripheral surface 112 toward the other side, and has a positive pressure surface 122 that becomes a positive pressure and a negative pressure surface 124 that becomes a negative pressure when the impeller 100 rotates. The hub 110 has a lightening part 117 that opens to the outer peripheral surface 112 between the positive pressure surface 122 and the negative pressure surface 124 of the plurality of blades 120. The lightening part 117 is provided closer to the positive pressure surface 122 than the negative pressure surface 124 of the blade 120.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
