Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of oscillation due to the loosing of balance between a washing machine and a balancer at the time of the reduction of the weight of wash during the advance of dehydration.
SOLUTION: When an eccentric position is in the neighborhood of a position opposed to the balancer provided at a part of a drum inner peripheral wall, water is poured into the balancer to adjust the balance of the drum. After that, light dehydration is executed for a certain time by increasing the rotating speed of the drum to 500 rpm and then the drum is temporarily suspended to drain a part of water in the balancer (S17 to S19). After that, the drum is rotated at 130 rpm again to detect the eccentric quantity (S24), water is poured into the balancer to make the eccentric quantity of a weight smaller than 350 g (S28 to S30) to shift to fast dehydrating operation (S31). Though the weight of wash is reduced to some degree by light dehydration, ballance is adjusted again in the state so that the degree of the weight reduction of the wash is small at the time of fast dehydrating operation to keep balance even when dehydrating is advanced.
