PURPOSE: To obatain a cylindrical centrifugal fan which emits no noise and does not vibrate during revolution due to imbalance and which can be easily manufactured for use in centrifugal blower, transversal flow-type blower, etc.

CONSTITUTION: The bowl-like body 1 is made up of the cylindrical drum 2 and the disk-like blocked portion 3 provided at the basal end of the body 1, and the hole 5 with the flange 4 facing the outside is bored at the center of the blocked portion 3. And, then central part other than the left and right edge portions of the cylidrical drum 2 is provided with a number of the blades 6 whose free end portions are inclined inwards at a fixed angle θ to the tangential direction of the drum 2 and are in parallel with the drum 2 at equal intervals in the circumferential direction. The centrifugal fan is supported in an overhung manner by fitting the hole 5 on the free end of the rotary shaft 7 for fixation, and sucks up air from the free end opening side of the bowl-like body 1 by the action of the blades 6 and then sends out the air to the centrifugal direction as the rotary shaft 7 rotates.
