Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal blower capable of reducing noise caused by a backflow of air blown out by a centrifugal fan.SOLUTION: A centrifugal blower 10 includes a projecting end portion 28 projecting in the axial direction DRa on an upper surface side plate 24 of a centrifugal fan 20. In the centrifugal blower 10, a backflow outlet flow passage 14 for causing a backflow to flow into the centrifugal fan 20 in the axial direction DRa is formed between a peripheral portion of a suction port 30a of a case 30 and an inner side end surface portion 280 of the projecting end portion 28. In the centrifugal blower 10, a backflow turning flow passage 12 for causing the orientation of the backflow to turn to the axial direction DRa is formed between an upper side case portion 32 and an outer side end surface portion 282 of the projecting end portion 28. In the centrifugal blower 10, a backflow straightening flow passage 16 for straightening the backflow disturbed in the backflow turning flow passage 12 is formed on the front side of the backflow outlet flow passage 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
