Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal force brake device capable of adjusting brake force imparted to a wheel at a wide range, and facilitating manufacturing and maintenance, and provide a hand-operated propulsion vehicle.SOLUTION: A centrifugal force brake device includes: a main shaft 13 held to a stationary part; a brake arm 12 arranged coaxially with the main shaft 13; a brake drum 23 arranged coaxially with the main shaft 13 and the brake arm 12; and a speed increase mechanism increasing the rotational speed of a mover part (wheel 5) and transmitting the rotation to the brake arm 12. In the centrifugal force brake device, plural brake shoe units 21A, 21B, 21C are installed in the arm brake 12 so as to be slidable in the radial direction of the brake arm 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
