To eliminate a decrease of an output of an engine at slope climbing time, by improving responsiveness of a centrifugal governor, and preventing dispersing of a rotational speed of the engine.
A governor weight 9 is connected to be associated with a rack pin 5 of fuel injection pump 6 of a Diesel engine through a governor lever 1, and a speed governing lever 7 to the governor lever 1 connected through a governor spring 8, and against elastically pressing the rack pin 5 to a fuel amount increasing side R by the governor spring 8, the rack pin 5 is pressed to a fuel amount decreasing side L by governor force G of the governor weight 9. In this constitution, the governor lever 1 is supported parallelly movably by a guide support shaft 13 parallel to a fuel cam shaft 15, and the governor lever 1 can be parallelly moved in a fuel adjusting direction of the rack pin 5.
