To provide a centrifugal oil separator that can be easily manufactured at a low cost and is durable to the burst pressure of high-pressure refrigerant.
An outflow pipe is vertically mounted in the upper part of a hermatically closed vessel, an inflow pipe is vertically mounted in the upper part or the lower part of the closed vessel, an oil returning pipe is mounted in the lower part of the closed vessel, a high-pressure high-temperature gas refrigerant in which a refrigerating machine oil is mixed is guided into the closed vessel, and the oil is separated by centrifugal force by being revolved along the side wall inner face of the closed vessel to be attached to the wall face. Face contact parts are formed as welding margins respectively on contact parts of the closed vessel and the inflow pipe, the closed vessel and the outflow pipe, and the closed vessel and the oil returning pipe.
