Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal pump capable of sucking liquid from the outer peripheral direction of a casing and discharging the sucked liquid from an end surface of the casing.
SOLUTION: An inlet side opening part 42 formed at a central part of an impeller 25 and a suction side port 16 formed on an outer peripheral surface of a casing 19 are communicated to each other, and hot water discharged from an outlet side opening part 43 of the impeller 25 is discharged to a discharge side port 15 formed at a central part of the casing 19 through a guide vane 27. Consequently, it is possible to install a pump P in a bathtub by directing a central axis of a motor 18 and an axis of a nozzle hole of the bathtub in the same direction. Additionally, it is possible to prevent generation of a turbulence to hot water flowing between the impeller 25 and the guide vane 27 by providing a partition plate 28 between the impeller 25 and the guide vane 27. Consequently, it is possible to certainly discharge hot water from the discharge side port 15.
