Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cephem compound having a wide antibacterial spectrum and especially exhibiting strong antibacterial activities against β-lactamase producing Gram-negative bacteria and to provide a pharmaceutical composition comprising the same.SOLUTION: There is provided a cephem compound represented by the formula (I), an ester of a carboxyl group, a protected product in an amino group when the amino group is present on the ring in the 7-position side chain or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
