Title:
CERAMIC BODY FOR FERRITE CORE, FERRITE CORE EMPLOYING THE SAME, AND COMMON MODE NOISE FILTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005277205
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To solve the problem of a conventional small-sized ferrite core, including multi-terminals and whose inter-electrode distance is small, for being employed for a common mode noise filter or the like that the insulation resistance between the electrodes of the core is reduced, resulting in causing a short circuiting, because of occurrence of migration at application of a voltage under atmosphere containing water contents, after the mount on the occurrence of drooped conductive paste and extended plating.

The ceramic body for the ceramic core comprising a winding core part 5 on which wires are wound; guards 1 formed at both ends of the winding core 5; and a plurality of legs 2 consecutively provided to the guards 1, includes at least one step part over the entire circumference of each leg 2 and the cross-sectional area of each leg 2 at the step part 3 is selected to be the cross sectional area on a border with the guards 1 or below so as to prevent the extended electrode from taking place.
