Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the size, weight and cost of a speed changer by mutually interlocking the movable sheaves of both pulleys by use of a wire, in a pulley type speed changer having speed change pulleys provided on a pair of mutually parallel rotating shafts and a belt wound between both the pulleys.
CONSTITUTION: The connecting member 17 to a fixed sheave 6 of a driving pulley 5 is connected to a housing 32 through a wire case 48, and the connecting member 20 to a movable sheave 7 is connected to one side of an oscillation type operation lever 39 through a wire member 49 inserted through the wire case 48. The connecting member 23 to a fixed sheave 12 of a driven pulley 11 is connected to the housing 32 through a wire member 53, the connecting member 26 to a movable sheave 13 is connected to the other end of the lever 39 through a wire case 52 through which the wire member 53 is inserted, and both the sheaves 7, 13 are interlockingly moved in the axial direction by the oscillation of the lever 39.
