Abstract:

To provide a ceramic engine recovering thermal energy of exhaust gas by driving a steam turbine and a compressor with steam generated by a pair of heat exchangers arranged in an exhaust passage.

A ceramic engine 1 is constituted by a high temperature heat exchanger 2 heating steam by thermal energy of exhaust gas G from a combustion chamber 13, low temperature heat exchanger 3 provided in an exhaust passage 8 provided in downstream of the high temperature heat exchanger 2, steam turbine supercharger 4 provided with a steam turbine and a compressor driven by high temperature steam HS from the high temperature heat exchanger 2, and a condenser 5 separating a fluid F discharged from the steam turbine into water W and low temperature steam LS. Pressure air PA from the compressor is supplied to the combustion chamber 13, a piston 14 is pressed down during a suction stroke, and compressor work is performed.
