Abstract:
To provide a multilayer fabric made of ceramic fibers, in which its strength is hardly reduced even if it is used in a bent state as an aggregate of a composite material, and to provide a composite material using the same.SOLUTION: In a multilayer fabric made of ceramic fibers, its complete texture is formed of M weft yarns laminated in L layers in the thickness direction and N warp yarns crossing the weft yarns. The multilayer fabric has a bending portion where the weft yarns adjacent to each other are lacking in the warp direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
