PURPOSE: To obtain both contrary characteristic of facilitative property for internal chill and high mechanical strength by providing buffering layer with ceramic sintering the specific essential components of material and having the specific physical properties in the internal chill body inserting the buffering layer into gap between inner and outer layers.
CONSTITUTION: The ceramic A11 to be included as the internal chill, is used as the inner layer and a metal 14 is used as the outer layer, and the buffering layer 12 is inserted into the gap between the inner and outer layers. The ceramic B12 of aluminum titanate ceramic sintering the material containing Al2O3 and TiO2 as the essential components and having 55-100kg/mm2 modulus of elasticity, 6-37kg/mm2 compressive strength and ≤1.1kcal/m.h.°K heat conductivity as the physical properties is used as the buffering layer 12.
