Title:
CERAMIC LADLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS63248557
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To remarkably extend service life of a ladle by integratedly forming a ladle fitting part in a ceramic ladle composing of a molten metal weighing part, molten metal pouring part and the ladle fitting part on the upper part of the molten metal pouring part and fitting to an automatic operating means of a robot, etc.

CONSTITUTION: The ceramic ladle is formed by the molten metal weighing part 1, molten metal pouring part 2 and the ladle fitting part 3. The ladle fitting part 3 is integratedly formed by joining with flat plate-like member 4, so as to cover the upper part of the molten metal pouring part 2. Further, it is fitted to the automatic operating means 5 of the robot, etc., by bolt, etc. At the time of pouring the molten metal 16 into the die, etc., the automatic operating means 5 is rotated as centering the center 0 of axial hole, and the molten surface 6a is gradually passed through 0 point and stable pouring can be executed. As the ladle fitting part 3 is formed symmetrical to the center line in the plane of the ladle at the upper part of the molten metal pouring part 2, in the case of either machines for using right or left side, the same ladle can be commonly used. By this method, number of the ladles for using may be reduced to half and by the ladle made of ceramic, the service life can be extended.
