Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the hardness and temperature stability and wearing resistance by consisting a ceramic of many layers and specifying a pore radius, final aperture porosity, total porosity and filling rate of metal.

CONSTITUTION: Concerning this ceramic metal compound material, the ceramic is composed of many layers and filled in pores up to the remaining pore volume of layer thickness from 10 to 15 μ, average pore radius from 100 to 1000 nm, final aperture porosity from 5 to 14%, total porosity from 5 to 30% and metal from 0.1 to 10% in respect to starting porosity. This compound material can be produced by plasma flaming and following metal penetration. This compound material is made into metal-enriched surface structure on the side facing that metal structure in comparison with the opposite side and bound with the metal structure so that it can be advantageously bound.
