Abstract:
To produce a ceramic protective pipe low in deterioration such as generation of crack due to thermal impact corrosion due to burning atmosphere and generation of deformation due to applied load and excellent in durability.
The ceramic protective pipe 5 is composed of a silicon nitride sintered compact containing 0.1-30 wt.% of at least one member selected among rare earth element oxide, aluminum oxide, silicon oxide, magnesium oxide, titanium oxide, zirconium oxide, aluminum nitride, molybdenum carbonate and iron oxide.
