Title:
CERAMIC SEPARATION MEMBRANE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3304526
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a ceramic separation membrane whose corrosion resistance is excellent by forming a ceramic porous film having mean pore diameter smaller than the mean pore diameter of a ceramic porous supporting body on the surface thereof and incorporating zirconia of specified wt.% into the ceramic porous film.
CONSTITUTION: A ceramic separation membrane is constituted by forming a ceramic porous film having mean pore diameter smaller than the mean pore diameter of a ceramic porous supporting body which has one layer or a plurality of layers on the surface of the supporting body and incorporating ≥97.0wt.% zirconia into the ceramic porous film. In the case of using the ceramic separation membrane as a filter for aseptic filtration, the mean pore diameter of the ceramic porous film is desirably regulated to ≤0.2μm. On the other hand, in order to secure practical value as the transmission flux value of the separation membrane, the mean pore diameter of the ceramic porous membrane is desirably regulated to ≥0.06μm.
