PURPOSE: To eliminate the falling-off of a ceramic powder though only a small amt. of an org. binder component is used by using a ceramic slurry consisting of the ceramic powder with an average particle size of a specific value or less, a vinyl monomer being an org. binder precursor, a polymerization initiator and water or water and a water-soluble org. solvent.

CONSTITUTION: One or more kind of a monomer having at least one or more hydrophilic group such as an anionic hydrophelic group, a 1-18C alkyl group or/and a 3-12C cycloalkyl group and/or an aryl group is copolymerized in a water or a mixed soln. of water and a water soluble org. solvent having 100 pts.wt. of a ceramic powder dispersed therein in the presence of a polymerization initiator to obtain microcapsules including the ceramic powder. The average particle size of the ceramic powder is 50.0μm or less. A predetermined molded object is obtained from a ceramic slurry of a ceramic precursor compsn. consisting of 100 pts.wt. of the ceramic powder, 2-30 pts.wt. of a vinyl monomer being an org. binder, if necessary, a dispersant and a plasticizer.
