To provide a ceramic valve, its manufacturing method and a valve unit capable of stably obtaining favorable sliding characteristics for a long term and preventing leakage.
A great number of recessed portions (19) which are opened in a column-shape are formed at a sliding surface (9) of a movable valve body (5). The sliding surface (9) of the movable valve body (5) is a surface from a peripheral edge portion of a mixture chamber (17) which opens at the middle of the movable valve body (5) to an outer peripheral portion of a disc. A great number of the recessed portions (19) having circular openings (21) with a 0.1-0.5 mm diameter open in a uniform arrangement. Specifically, a number of the recessed portions (19) are formed so that area in the sliding surface (9) excepting to the opening portions (21) of the recessed portions (19) may occupy a range of 40%-80% of a total area of the sliding surface (9).
