PURPOSE: To obtain a ceramics structural body which has the degree of freedom in a shape and also is strong in mechanical strength by forming at elast one piece of notch in a ceramics sheet and matching the notch of the other side of ceramics sheet with the notch of one side of ceramics sheet to combine the respective ceramics sheets.

CONSTITUTION: A notch 2 having required number and size is formed in a cut ceramics sheet 1. Since the ceramics sheet 1 is in a state before being sintered, the notch 2 is easily formed life paper by scissors and a cutter knife. Then the respective ceramics sheets 1 formed with notchs 2 are combined by matching the notch 2 of the other hand of ceramics sheet 1 with the notch 2 of one side of ceramics sheet 1. An adhesive 3 is applied to the matched part. When mechanical strength is required as a catalytic carrier, the inorganic adhesive such as a clayey or ceramic binder is used, heated and sintered. A ceramic structural body is obtained by repeating the above work.
