Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cervical vertebral brace capable of always easily, quickly, and surely regulating an angle and always stably supporting a lower jaw receiving body and a back head part receiving body.
SOLUTION: An angle adjusting means 53 in this cervical vertebral brace is constructed of a clutch member 54 locked in each of a chest body 1, the lower jaw receiving body 6, and the head back part receiving body 8 and provided with a radial claw 56, a clutch part 60 having an equally shaped claw 62 and formed in each of connection arms 51 and 52 to be meshed with the clutch member 54, a stopper ring 63 having a working claw 66 and attached to each of the connection arms 51 and 52 for meshing and fixing the clutch member 54 and the clutch part 60 together, and a receiving member 76 with a working claw 80 meshed with the working claw 66 in the stopper ring 63 for pressing operation. These members are journaled to a shaft coaxially.
