Abstract:
To provide a chabazite-type zeolite having a high Al content as a substrate of a catalyst support or an adsorbent from the standpoint of the number of ion exchange sites or the solid acid amount, and having high durability and heat resistance; a method for producing the same; and a new chabazite-type zeolite having copper supported.
In the chabazite-type zeolite, the mole ratio of SiO2/Al2O3 is less than 15 and the average particle diameter is ≥1.0 and ≤8.0 μm. The chabazite-type zeolite has excellent durability and heat resistance. In the chabazite-type zeolite having copper supported, the rate of reduction of the nitrogen oxide at low temperature is improved compared to the conventional chabazite-type zeolite having copper supported.
