This chaff housing consists of the husking plant 1, a husking device 2 installed in the husking plant 1, a chaff housing 5 disposed in the husking plant 1 and a pneumatic feed conduit 6 for connecting the husking device 2 and the chaff housing 5. The chaff housing 5 is formed as an approximately hermetic structure and is provided with an air suction fan 9 and a dust collecting chamber 10 near the chaff housing 5. The chaff housing 5 and the suction port of the air suction fan 9 are connected by a forced suction pipe 11. The discharge port of the air suction fan 9 and the dust collecting chamber 10 are connected by a dust discharge pipe 12. The relation between the air quantity A of the pneumatic feed conduit 6 and the suction air quantity B of the force suction pipe 11 is specified to A≤B.
