Abstract:
The conveyor has chain-guide rails (24) which are supported by a holder (26) so as to form an interior space (27) with an open longitudinal side. Pick-up systems grip the conveyor chains (6) carrying the sheets and the chains are guided by the chain-guide rails. The conveyor chains are formed of inner (36) and outer (35) plates which are swivelably joined by articulated axles (38). One side of the conveyor chains carry covering link plates (34) which are connected to the outer plates so as to cover the open longitudinal side. The covering link plates have detents (37) for connection with the outer plates. Each covering link plate, on its side facing the outer plate, has recesses (34.2) which are concentric with each articulated axle.
