Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a positive prevention of leakage of lubricant agent at a connected part between two cover members.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a coupling structure comprising: two shafts 1 with their ends being oppositely faced to each other; a pair of sprockets 2 arranged at each of the two shafts 1; an endless chain 3 having two rows of engaging portions engaged with teeth of a pair of sprockets 2; and split cover members 10 covering entire engaged portions. The cover members 10 comprise a semi-cylindrical cylinder part 11 and end walls 12 protruded from both ends of cylinder axis direction of the cylinder part 11. The cylinder part 11 and the end walls 12 where the cover members 10 oppositely face to each other are provided with flat abutting surfaces 18. The end walls 12 are provided with recess grooves 13 storing an annular seal ring 16 along an outer circumference of the shaft 1 at their inner diameter side edges. The opposing abutting surfaces 18 are fixed under a state that they are closely contacted to each other through plate-like damper members 20. The portions of the damper members 20 adjacent to the recess grooves 13 are coated with not-yet cured resin to have a seal part S formed thereat.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
