A chain cover 1A includes a long cover body 2 elongated in an up-and-down direction, and a reinforcement rib 3 formed into a mesh-like shape on an entire back face of the cover body 2. A plurality of cells 4A surrounded by the reinforcement rib 3 have openings formed to have opening widths gradually narrowing from an intermediate part in the up-and-down direction of the cells 4A toward lowest parts thereof when viewed from the back face side, respectively. On the reinforcement rib 3, communicating passages 5A extending downwards or diagonally downwards from the lowest parts of the cells 4A toward other cells 4A adjacent to the cell 4A and for communicating the cells 4A adjacent to each other by penetrating the reinforcement rib 3 in its thickness directions are formed. The plurality of cells 4A adjacent to each other in the up-and-down direction or the diagonally up-and-down direction are communicated with each other through the plurality of communicating passages 5A.
