PURPOSE: To reduce the number of parts, and working manhours, and improve workability for a chain holder to be installed on a corner part of a case main body of a compact electronic device.
CONSTITUTION: A recessed part 14 is formed at a corner part of a case main body 13 of a compact electronic device 12, stopping holes 15 are formed at facing positions in the recessed part 14, stopping shaft parts 17 are formed at tips of a U-shaped chain stopper 16, the chain stopper 16 is resiliently deformed to be inserted into the recessed part 14 by pressing the chain stopper around both stop shaft parts 17, and the chain stopper 16 restores to an original form by eliminating pressing force while pushing it in the insertion direction, so the stopping shaft parts 17 are engaged in the stopping holes 15. Where the stopping shaft parts 17 and the stopping holes 15 are in an engagement condition, the chain stopper 16 is installed on the recessed part 14 to be held rotatably, thereby a chain for preventing dropping can be installed.
