Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain looseness detection device of a passenger conveyor capable of accurately detecting chain looseness.SOLUTION: A coil spring 3 of a chain looseness detection device 1 has a roller 35 brought into contact with a driving chain 112 and a spring main body 31 biasing it. The roller 35 biased by the spring main body 31 is brought into contact with the driving chain 112 and imparts tension to the driving chain 112. A limit switch 6 has an operation section 61 movable by telescopic motion of the spring main body 31 and operates by movability thereof. A control section 8 outputs an on/off state of the limit switch 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
