Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain saw control part which has a human engineering advantage and can improve chain saw control.SOLUTION: A chain saw 1 includes a guide bar 10, a cutting chain 11, and a driving unit 25 driving the cutting chain. The guide bar 10 defines a first longitudinal axis 16 extending along a center line of the guide bar 10. The chain saw 1 further has a handle part 2 for supporting and operating the chain saw 1, and the handle part 2 includes a control part 3 arranged above the chain saw 1. The control part 3 includes a throttle lever 8 for controlling the speed of the driving unit 25 and has a left side and a right side 5. The control part 3 defines a second longitudinal axis 17 substantially extending along at least one upper surface of the control part 3. An angle A between the first longitudinal axis 16 and the second longitudinal axis 17 is 14-45°, suitably 14-35°, and more suitably 14-30°.
