Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain transmission device which reduces a friction loss between a chain and a sprocket, and suppresses the wear of the chain and the sprocket.SOLUTION: In a chain transmission device 100 which is constituted of a chain 110 and a sprocket 150, the chain 110 is constituted by alternately arranging a first plate row 120 and a second plate row 130 while displacing them by a half pitch in a chain longitudinal direction, and by connecting them so as to be bendable by a connecting pin 140. Also in the chain transmission device 100, the connecting pin 140 has a pair of pin end parts 141 which protrude from outside faces of link plates 121 arranged at both outer sides of a chain width direction, and the sprocket 150 has a sprocket main body 160 and ring-shaped guide parts 171 which are arranged at both outer sides of the sprocket main body 160, and guide the pin end parts 141 to the chain width direction.
