Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the quantity of parts, to attain small size and light weight and also to reduce a jitter by providing guide roller assembly with a weight on loading guides to guide a running of the tape.
CONSTITUTION: The guide roller assembly 21 with a weight to guide the running of the magnetic tape 3 are provided on the loading guides 4A, 4B. The weight 26 are formed nearly in the doughnut shape, and also notched parts 28 radially extending toward the outer peripheral side from a center are provided keeping plural equal spaces in the peripheral direction. In such a constitution, the guide roller and impedance roller are both served by the guide roller assembly 21, therefore, the impedance roller required in a conventional device can be omitted. Also, the frequency band for reducing the jitter is easily altered by means of changing the weight 26 of the guide roller assembly 21 by the notched parts 28.
