Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve durability by supporting a power transmission block by the link plates inside from the outermost link plates and reducing the load applied onto the link plates. CONSTITUTION:An outer link plate 3 arranged on the outermost side does not support a power transmission block 32 and supports only a joint pin 2. The power transmission block 32 is supported by the inner link plates 6 and 7 inside the outer link plate 3. The distance L1 between an engagement edge surface 31 and the link plate 7 for supporting the power transmission block 32 at the position nearest to the engagement edge surface 31 is set long. Therefore, the load applied onto the link plate can be reduced, and the durability of a chain type belt can be increased.
