To provide a chain having the advantage that the operation noise is small, the transmission efficiency is high, and a service life is long.

The chain with a toothed roller has: a plurality of links which are arranged laterally and overlapped horizontally each other; a plurality of pins to connect the overlapping part of an adjoining link; and a plurality of toothed rollers, and each toothed roller is positioned between two parallel link plates of one link centering on each pin. Then, each toothed roller is connected with the adjoining link plate by the driven method. Each toothed roller has the connecting part which is rotated simultaneously with a link and a projecting part from the connecting part toward a sprocket to insert into one of the teeth groove of the sprocket. The disclosed chain has the advantage that the lifetime is long, the operation noise is small, and the driving efficiency is high, by the improved structure of the roller.
