To provide a chair also usable as a walking tool for a disabled person at a required time reduced in the number of parts, having a simple structure and capable of being used ordinarily without a feeling of physical disorder.
The chair consists of a lower half part T1, which consists of left and right front legs 1 and rear legs 2, left and right stand plates 3, the interval keeping beams 7 provided to the rear parts of both stand plates, the seat plate 11 of which the undersurfaces on both left and right sides are supported on the upper surfaces of both stand plates 3 and which are revolvable by about 110° and a bottomed lower connection pipes 10 vertically erected from the outsides of both stand plates 3 and equipped with insertion holes of knobs 9, and an upper half part T2 which consists of left and right elbow placing arms 20 also used as handles, interval keeping beams 21 having a backrest 22 fixed thereto and the upper connection pipes 23 suspended from the undersurfaces of both arms to be inserted in the bottomed lower connection pipes 10 in an up and down movable manner and provided with the insertion holes of the shaft parts of the leading ends of the knobs 9. Upper connection pipes 23 are inserted into the bottomed lower connection pipes 10 and the height of the upper half part T2 is set by the knobs 9.
