Abstract:
1. Functional seating furniture, in particular for office use, comprising a frame (1), a seat (2) pivotable about a horizontal frame axis against the force of at least one spring and of adjustable inclination, and also a backrest (3) pivotable in dependence on the respective inclination of the seat, characterized in that the front part of the seat (2) is supported, in particular in the side region, in each case against one arm of a two-armed lever (15) pivotably mounted on the frame (1), the other arm of which engages in each case with a link (5) which is pivoted in accordance with the seat inclination and which thereby brings about a lowering of the front edge of the seat on increasing the inclination of the seat.
