Abstract:
To provide a chair and armchair having a structure whose skeleton member can be simply and quickly covered with a woven fabric.
A component 11 made of a woven fabric is formed of two plastic-made rod members 12, 13 having a C-shaped section. A wing part 14 of each of the rod members 12, 13 is larger than a confronting wing part 15, and fixed to the end part 16 of a member 17 made of a woven fabric by a sewing part 18. The respective rod members 12, 13 are connected to both end parts of the skeleton member of the chair or armchair to be covered while the woven fabric-made member is stretched.
