To facilitate dental treatment while a dentist remains in a standing position by having two steps of a normal elevating and lowering stroke for elevating and lowering a movable base part and of an elevating and lowering stroke for further elevating and lowering only a seat part for the elevating and lowering stroke in a chair for dental treatment to make the overall elevating and lowering stroke for the seat part large.
The chair for dental treatment includes a fixed base part 30, the movable base part 20 vertically moving relative to the fixed base part 30, and the seat part 10 which makes vertical movements relative to the movable base part 20 and makes rising and reclining movements and tilting movements. Since the entire stroke of the vertical movements of the seat part 10 is the sum of the strokes (A+B) determined by adding a stroke (B) of the vertical movements of the seat part 10 to a conventional stroke (A) of the vertical movements of the movable base part 20, the stroke of the chair for dental treatment is larger than that of the conventional chair for dental treatment by the stroke (B).
