To provide a chair for medical examination used for measuring the arrangement of the teeth or the occlusal state accurately or for performing variety of treatments for pursuing the balance of the human body comprehensively which is capable of securing the physiological curvature of the each vertebra and relaxing the muscular tension as much as possible while holdig the human body parallel to the direction of the gravity.
The chair for medical examination has a skull position regulating means 7 and a pelvis position regulating means 4 for regulating the positions of the skull or the pelvis of a subject sitting on a seat respectively. Each of the regulating means 7 and 4 fixes the position of the skull or the pelvis of the subject by abutment thereof on the right and left sides of the skull or the pelvis. With such a configuration, planes located at the longitudinal center of the skull and the pelvis are positioned within a central plane parallel to the direction of the gravity and are integrated into the central plane as an identical plane. The chair secures the physiological curvature of the vertebra to hold the body of the subject in an ideal condition balanced in the perpendicular and horizontal directions with respect to the gravity and allows to maintain the condition.
