To inexpensively provide a chair for medical use, capable of allowing a patient to be easily seated, regardless of a physique, to move to a treatment without causing neither back abrasion nor fear in the action of the chair, and to sufficiently raise up to a height suitable for the treatment.
The chair for medical use includes: a seat part base 7 having seat pivotal support parts 9b arranged close to the great trochanters of a seated person; back rest links 9 to which a back rest 5 is attached and which pivotally support a seat part board by the seat pivotal support parts; an elevating base 3 for freely rotatably supporting the back rest link by a back rest pivotal support part 3a which is formed at a position separated backward from the seat part board and also a position higher than the upper horizontal surface of a seat part 7a on the seat base in a chair state; a seat part link 8 where one end 8a is pivotally supported by the elevating base and the other end 8b is pivotally supported by the seat part base; a base seat 1; a straight-elevating guide 4 for performing guide so as to move the elevating base in a vertical direction; a rising/falling actuator 6 pivotally supported by a cylinder pivotal support part 3b; and an elevating actuator 2.
