Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give a massage to the ankle and sole in addition to the legs.
SOLUTION: This chair type massage machine includes legrests 2 disposed in front of a seat part 10 to be freely moved up and down to hold the legs of a seated person on the seat part, and footrests 3 disposed at the tip of the legrests 2 to be freely turned up and down to hold the foot part of the seated person. The legrests 2 and the footrests 3 are provided with a massage means for giving a massage to the legs and feet of the seated person. The footrest 3 holds the back side of the ankle part of the seated person in the substantially horizontal state with the legrests 2. Thus, a massage given to the legs held by the legrests 2 and a massage given to the feet held by the footrests 3 can be performed.
