Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel furniture device suited to intellectual work.SOLUTION: A furniture device is composed of chair units 5 and intermediate units 15. The chair unit 5 has a seat 1, a backrest 2, and an enclosure frame 4, and is trapezoidal as a whole wider toward a user. The enclosure frame 4 has side panels 6 and a back panel 7. On the side panels 6, cut-out parts 8 are formed, and light transparent shield plates 9 are fitted to the cut-out parts 8 so that they can rise and fall. To the intermediate unit 15, a table plate 18 is attached, and a person seated on the chair unit 5 uses the table plate 18 to perform tasks such as notebook computer operation. A plurality of the furniture devices can be laid out in various manners, such as a zigzag shape, by considering open performance and closed performance.
