The chair 10 is composed of a seat part 11 with the upper surface 11a as a seated face, and left and right leg parts 12 supporting the seat part 11. The foam material is obtained by mixing and heating polyolefin synthetic resin, paper powder and hydrophilic synthetic polymers to make a high-temperature molten substance and mixing water in the substance, and a number of closed cells are formed inside the foam material.
