To provide a reclining-type chair for infusion which does not make a user boring even for a long time of infusion and facilitates transfer of the user to a bed when a condition of the user suddenly changes.
The chair has a seat 1, a backrest 2, a leg rest 4 and a footrest 3. The backrest 2 and the leg rest 4 rotate to a horizontal posture. As the footrest 3 is connected to the lower end of the leg rest 4, the footrest moves to the same height as the seat 1 by swinging rotation of the leg rest 4. Side guards 5 are arranged detachably on the right and left sides of the seat 1. A wide armrest 13 is arranged on the side guard 5 in such a way that the height of the armrest is freely adjustable. With such a configuration, a patient can receive infusion while raising the body, mounting the arm on the armrest 13 and, for example, watching television. When a condition of the patient suddenly changes, the patient is easily transferred to a bed by removing the side guard 5.
