Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce, to the minimum by a simple constitution, the number of part items of a chair which is constituted so that a position of a head part does not largely move rearward when a backrest is leaned.SOLUTION: A chair comprises: a seat part 32 being a region for the seating of a person; a base part 31 which slidably holds the seat part 32 in the fore-and-aft direction, and is fixed to a floor face 10; a backrest 48 which is attached to the seat part 32 via a hinge part 55 so as to be turnable with respect to the seat part 32, and has, at both side faces, guide grooves 52 formed which are engaged so as to be movable to the base part 31 together with the seat part 32 in the fore-and-aft direction, and also capable of moving guide pins 51 arranged at both side faces of the base part 31; a leg placing pedestal 60 which is attached to the front end of the seat part 32 so as to be turnable via a second hinge part 58; and a connecting rod 65 which is attached to the leg placing pedestal 60 at its one end so as to be turnable via a third hinge part 68, also attached to the lower end of the backrest at the other end so as to be turnable via a fourth hinge part 66, and connects the leg placing pedestal 60 and the backrest 48.
