Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair capable of preventing a portion between the back and inferior limb of a seated person from sliding by a stretching material.SOLUTION: A stretching material 16 is formed of an elastic cloth 17 comprising a cloth of a ground texture 17a constituted in a lattice-like shape by a warp yarn 18 and a weft yarn 19 each formed by using a plurality of warp or weft each comprising at least one of a single yarn and a thick twist yarn. A weft band part 20 wider than the weft yarn 19 is constituted in the ground texture 17a so as to extend to the surface of the stretching material 16, a plurality of band-like step parts extending in the horizontal direction so as to extend to the surface of the stretching material 16 are formed by the weft band part 20, and the plurality of band-like step parts are arranged separating from each other along the longitudinal direction corresponding to the vertical direction of a backrest or the front and back direction of a seat body.
