PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair which enables the height of a seat part to be easily adjusted by operations of a user's feet, which hardly causes a malfunction, and which is excellent in safety and operability.SOLUTION: A chair includes a seat part, hoisting and lowering means for hoisting and lowering the seat part, leg parts, and a foot reception part that is rotatably or turnably connected to the hoisting and lowering means and that is provided below the leg parts.
